It is with sadness that the passing of Sandra A. Smith (Louisville, Kentucky) is shared. Sandra, born on June 5, 1944, passed away on September 12, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence J. Smith and Mary Catherine Smith; her son Anthony Smith; her brothers, Thomas "Butch" Smith and Gregory Smith; and her close friend Nelson Pinkston.
She is survived by: her daughter Shanita Smith; her siblings, Brenda Sims (Eugene Sr.), Marilyn Smith, Kenneth Smith, Leslie Smith and Brian Smith (Tammy); her grandchildren, Anthony Britt, Gregory Embers (Jasmin), Robert Britt (Tiffany) and Brittany Britt (Brian); and her daughter-in-law Joyce Britt Smith. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Greater Good Hope Baptist Church (840 S 26th St, Louisville, KY 40211). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
