He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Scott and Rosie Scott; and his siblings, Lucille Race, Dora Nantz, Charlie Scott and Meredith Scott.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Scott; his son Chad Scott (Amy); his grandchildren, Caleb Scott (Holiday), Ryan Scott (Jessica), Matthew Scott, Sarah Scott and Sophie Scott; and his great grandchild Campton Scott. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
A reception will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (235 Juneau Dr, Louisville, KY 40243).
