Sharon Lee Shafii Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharon Lee Shafii of Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on August 19, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Sharon departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Sharon may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Sharon leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arie (Dorothy Van Daalen) and Sharon; and her husband Dr. Mohammad Shafii. She is survived by: her daughters, Jaleh and Taraneh Shafii; and her grandchildren, Liam Arie Kreiss and Mitra Alyce Shafii.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Pearson Funeral Home (149 Breckenridge Ln, Louisville, KY 40207).
