As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Shirlean may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband James W. Reed, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, James W. Reed, Jr. (Pamela), Kenneth L. Reed, Sr., Angela D. Fort, Roxie A. Brockington, Michael W. Reed, Sr. (Gloria), Robert A. Reed (Christine) and Eric E. Reed, Sr. (Kim); and her siblings, Lamont Anthony, Donna Anthony and Tammy Murphy. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Christ Temple Christian Life Center (723 S 45th St, Louisville, KY 40211, USA). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
