She was predeceased by: her father Roosevelt Meredith; her husband James Thomas Potts; her siblings, Homa Meredith, Oda Meredith, Midge Ostendorf (Ed), Mary Boston (Doug), Bess Sanders (Ova), Elaine Denton (Duard) and Ann Hall; her mother Geneva Meredith (Roosevelt); her son-in-law Steve Bond; and her close friend Tom Lewis.
She is survived by: her children, Bill Potts (Kathy), Faye Philpot (Ed), Joyce Harris (Bobby), Patricia, Kenny (Joyce) and Evelyn Rogers (Phil); her siblings-in-law, Jean Meredith and Leo Hall; and her friends, Karin McAuliffe and Linda Lewis. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-granddaughter; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Teresa of Calcutta (903 Fairdale Rd, Fairdale, KY 40118). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
