He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Hayden Hartung and William Hartung; and his wife Debra Schorr Hartung. He is survived by: his children, Ashley Hartung Hagerty (Tony) and Baymon Hartung; his sister Chris Hartung Bowles (Pat); and his grandchildren, Elena and Aria Hagerty.
A funeral Mass was held on Monday, May 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Paul II Parish (3539 Goldsmith Ln, Louisville, KY 40220). Visitation was held on Monday, May 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home (3800 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218).
