She was predeceased by: her parents, Norma Jean Irby (Smith) and Ellis Everett Irby; and her husband Randy Wells. She is survived by: her children, Karen Noltemeyer (Brett) and Chris Merrifield (Valerie); her grandchildren, Ryan Noltemeyer (Emily) and Matthew Noltemeyer (Kevyn); her great grandchildren, Zoey, Phoebe and Leo Noltemeyer; her siblings, Sherrin Parrott (Joe) and Jim Irby (Kathy); her nieces, Angie Shroyer (Rod), Ashley Parrott and Kelly Shaaber (Chris); and her nephew Jimmy Irby (Tami). She is also survived by many great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (235 Juneau Dr, Louisville, KY 40243). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Resthaven Cemetery (4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218).
