He was predeceased by: his parents, Truman Smith and Virginia Mildred Smith (Waller) of Willow Shade; and his son Shannon David. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Anne Smith (Gillespie); his son Brian Sebastian; and his grandchildren, Shane and Chaz.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Owen Funeral Home (5317 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40216). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at the Follow Kentucky Veterans Cemetery.
