We bid farewell to Theodore Bogard (Louisville, Kentucky), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 6, 2025 at the age of 90. Theodore touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna and Oscar; his former wife Wanda D; and his siblings, Louise, Irma, Mary Ann and Ronald.
He is survived by: his wife Emily Pilkenton Bogard; his sister Shirley Raymond; and his children, Debbie (Billy), Billy (Melissa), Todd, Peggy (Dennis), Rosa, Joe (Teresa), John (Deborah) and Melissa (Tommy). He is also survived by 18 loving grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hardin Memorial Park Cemetery (1000 N Miles St, Elizabethtown, KY 42701).
