With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Wanda Ann Lile (Louisville, Kentucky), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Wanda Ann left this world on June 2, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Wanda Ann may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur "Gene" Lile. She is survived by: her children, Mark Lile, Kevin Lile, Dana Philhower and Cindy Lile (DD); her grandchildren, Amanda Davis, Kristopher Roby (Tara) and Amber Christison; her niece Phyllis Wolfram; and her nephew Jeff Thompson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McDaniel Funeral Home (411 Fairdale Rd, Fairdale, KY 40118). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church (903 Fairdale Rd, Fairdale, KY 40118). A burial will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at the Calvary Cemetery (1600 Newburg Rd, Louisville, KY 40205).
