William Potter Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Potter (Louisville, Kentucky), who passed away on October 3, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, William shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid William farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Potter and Ruby Potter; and his siblings, Michael Potter and Evelyn Jackson. He is survived by: his daughters, Annette Richey (Curt), Lydia Livers (Walter), Karen Fields (Troy), Jennifer Young and Jessica Poe (Jason). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and loving friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Evergreen Funeral Home (4623 Preston Hwy, Louisville, KY 40213). A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
