He was predeceased by: his parents, William Poynter and Trula Poynter. He is survived by: his sister Peggy Poynter (Anita); his children, William Poynter, Beth Stelzer (Eric), Christopher (Marta) and Ryan (Rajeev); and his grandchildren, Peter Stelzer, Nils, Fox, Gwen and Iris Poynter.
