He was predeceased by: his parents, Dee Head and Alice Miller Head; his wife Rose Alice Lyvers Head; his sisters, Ethel Ann Stanley, Marilyn M. Culver and Charlotte M. Rogers; and his brothers-in-law, Dink Stanley, Dickie Culver, Al Rogers and Donald Bradley.
He is survived by: his son Terry Head (Peggy); his grandson Jacob Head (Kara); his great grandchildren, Christopher Theodore and Connor Joseph Head; and his sister Elizabeth Vienna Bradley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home and Cremation Services (1475 New Shepherdsville Rd, Bardstown, KY 40004). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Holy Cross Church Cemetery (3560 N St Francis Rd, Loretto, KY 40037).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
