He was predeceased by: his parents, T. Scott Scott and Garnet Collins Scott; and his sister Ruby Scott. He is survived by: his wife Carlena Harris Scott; his sons, Andy Dewayne Scott (Margaret) of Lovely, KY and William; his siblings, Lacy Scott of Lovely, KY and Helen Moore of Louisa, KY.; and his grandchildren, Dallas Dewayne Scott, Destiny Marie Scott, Davina Rose Scott (Rosebud), Jett Blair, Ravyn Scott and Cage Scott.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral cost.
