He is survived by: his stepfather Mark Carter; his close friend John Lyons; his sisters, Michelle Brown (Eric) and Christine Runyon; his siblings' children, Brianna Marcum, Suzie Runyon, Erica Fitch (Amos), Grace (Grant Blackburn), Audrey, Lydia, Jason Mills (Sara) and Hunter; his great-nieces, Marlee Fitch and Sophie Mills; his aunts, Linda, Sally and Angie; and his uncle Rutt.
