He was predeceased by: his parents, Elijah Maynard and Virgie Scott Maynard; his former wife Sadie Howell Maynard; his wife Ollie Mary Jude Maynard; his children, John Henry Maynard, Millard Maynard, Nathan Maynard, Billy Ray Maynard, Donnie Maynard, Melvin Maynard, Ray Maynard and Mary Belle Maynard; and his siblings, Bill Maynard, Belle Smith, Gladys Jude, Ollie Jude, Merky Jude, Kate Jude, Mary Lowe, Haley Jude and Sarah Jude.
He is survived by: his children, Darlene Fletcher (Charlie) of Inez, KY, Glendine Maynard of Inez, KY, Loraine Fletcher (James) of Inez, KY, Oliver Maynard (Janie) of Crum, WV, Robert Maynard (Minnie) of Blaine, KY, Leslie Jude (Alice) of Warfield, KY, George Thomas Maynard (Bonnie) of Pilgrim, KY, Ronnie Jude (Helen) of Inez, KY and Lonnie Maynard of South Charleston, WV; his daughter-in-law Rebecca Maynard of Naugatuck, WV.; and his great grandchild David Lee Miller. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
