It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Joseph of Loyall, Kentucky, born in Harlan, Kentucky, who passed away on December 18, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Margaret Bennett Joseph; his parents, John Joseph and Ophie Jackson Joseph; his children, John Stepp and Pearl Stepp; and his siblings, Cleve Joseph, Rufus Joseph and Ethel Joseph Arwood.
He is survived by: his children, Quintin Stepp, Sr., Kathy Napier and Jared Stepp; his siblings, Hiram Joseph, Paul Joseph, Mae Hensley, Katie Saylor and Mary "Little Mary" Markin; his grandchildren, Quintina Stepp, Amber Stepp, Quintin Stepp, Jr., Starrla Gann, Pearl Stepp, Jr. and John Stepp; and his close friend Gary Fee.
