He was predeceased by: his parents, Beulah Miles Thompson and Oscar Thompson; his wife Linda Ellis Thompson; and his brother Benjamin Thompson. He is survived by: his children, Melanie Day (Dexter) and Brian Thompson (Angela); his grandchildren, Cameron Reynolds, Aidan Reynolds (Joe), Zoey Thompson and Amelia Thompson (Millie); and his brother Troy Thompson (Elaine).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Tunnels for Towers in his memory.
