She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Joseph and Mamie Julia Jones (Bragg); her husband Roy E. Thornberry, Sr.; her daughter Rita Wofford Dickmann; her daughter-in-law Debbie Thornberry; and her brother Lester Jones.
She is survived by: her children, George Thornberry, Roy Thornberry, Jr., Ronnie Wofford (Yasmina), Sam Thornberry (Heather), Randy Wofford (Vikki), Chris Thornberry (Veronica) and Aletha Baron; her siblings, Sharon Hamilton McMullen (Dave) and Joe Jones (Prestine); and her sister-in-law Vicky Jones. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
