She was predeceased by: her husband Larry Barton; her parents, Bernard Sturd and Gertrude Sturd; and her brothers, Merle Sturd and Herb Sturd.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Barton (Jill), Tracy Holmes (Robin) and Tim Barton; and her siblings, Barb James and Howard Sturd (Mary). She is also survived by four grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three step great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
