We announce the death of Amalee Hampton of Madisonville, Kentucky, who passed away on July 21, 2026, at the age of 93. Amalee will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Davis Frederick and Bonnie Villines Frederick; her husband Wayne Hampton; her stepdaughters, Kathy Terrell (Larry) and Theresa Forbes; and her siblings, Edna Winstead (Cyril), Roetta Towe (James), Francis Winstead (C. B.), Mary Winstead and George Frederick (Mary Lou).
She is survived by: her daughter Martha Thomas (Darrell) of Madisonville; and her siblings, Curt Frederick (Barbara) of Madisonville and Sandra Harmon (Donald) of Henderson, KY. She is also survived by several grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
