She was predeceased by: her parents, John McElroy and Nellie Bell McElroy; and her siblings, John McElroy II, Ray McElroy, Austin McElroy, Bill McElroy, Howard McElroy, David McElroy, Carrie Jones, Mae Davis, Ernestine Minnett, Louise Davis and Cara Harrell.

She is survived by: her sons, Darryl Jones (Benita Lynn) of Columbus and Anthony Jones (Donna Kaye) of Nashville, Tennessee; her siblings, Jerry McElroy of Chicago and Paula Caudle of Providence; her grandchildren, Tamara Nelson, Kayla Jones, Amber Jones and Skylar Jones; her great grandchildren, Nahari Harris, Etoyi Nelson, Nieem Nelson, Itai Nelson and A'Saiah Nelson; and her friend Covid. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Her life will be celebrated at 1:00 p. m. Saturday at Word of Faith Christian Center 1400 Kingsway Drive Madisonville, in which the service will be limited to the immediate family and closest of friends due to Covid-19 restrictions.
