He was predeceased by : his parents, Eloise Woods McGregor and Benjamin McGregor; his son Franklin McGregor; and his siblings, Phyllis Hill, Helen Northup and Bill McGregor.

He is survived by : his wife Patricia "Pat" Oldham McGregor; his son Darren McGregor (Lisa) of Princeton, KY; his stepson Michael Watts (Wendy) of Slaughters, KY; his sisters, Roxann Holloway (Mike) of Princeton and Mary Burden of Dawson Springs; his grandchildren, Benjamin McGregor and Autumn McGregor; and his stepgrandsons, Garrett Watts and Jackson Watts. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
