He was predeceased by: his parents, Deloma Brown Deaton and Burtis Marvin Heflin; his sons, Jeffrey Wayne Gibson and Daren Wade Gibson; his siblings, Raymond Heflin and Edith Wentworth; and his granddaughter Crystal Gibson.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Moore Heflin; his daughters, Kimberly Parson (Todd) of Madisonville and Delane Gibson of Anton; and his sister Linda Faye Heflin of Pensacola, FL. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
