He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Edward and Edna Pruitt (Hayes); his sister Elaine Wilson (Leon) of Glasgow; his wife Brenda Sue Branstetter; his sons, Jeremy Ross (Sarah) of Wilmore and Joshua Edward (Jennifer) of Hanson; and his grandchildren, Ellie Kate, Sadie Ann, Callum Byron and Asher Hayes.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Pennyrile Church of Christ (4915 Hanson Rd, Madisonville, KY 42431). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that money be sent as a gift to support Hopkins County 4-H (25 Mahr Park, Madisonville, KY 42431).
