Calvin left this world on April 17, 2024 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by : his parents, Shellie McKinsey Walker and Aubrey D. Walker; and his siblings, Carroll "Budgie" Walker and Nell Rose Walker Tappscott. He is survived by : his wife Evelyn Hoskins Walker; his daughters, Vicki Walker of Tampa, FL and Suzy Walker Heilman (Jon) of Greenwood, IN; and his grandchildren, Nicholas Heilman of Chicago, IL and Hannah Heilman of Boston, MA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (200 E Center St, Madisonville, KY 42431). A burial was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at the Odd Fellows Cemetery (805 W Center St, Madisonville, KY 42431).
