He was predeceased by: his parents, A. O. Browning and Sarah Isabell Dexter Browning; and his sister Alice Faye Trover. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Orton Browning of Madisonville; and his sons, Jeff Browning (Tracy) of Madisonville and Steve Browning (Michelle) of Painesville, OH. He is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home – Madisonville Chapel (2285 N Main St, Madisonville, KY 42431). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to First United Methodist Church or Hicklin Cemetery Fund.
