She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Boteler and I. B. Boteler; and her husband Tommy Hamby. She is survived by: her sons, Darren Hamby (Angie) of Madisonville, Rev. Derik Hamby (Katie) of Madison Heights, VA and Dustin Hamby (Katy) of Ashland City, TN; her brother Charles Boteler (Jonelle) of Louisville; her grandchildren, Lexie Crabtree (Cody), Kanen Hamby, Rachel Hamby and Will Hamby; and her great grandchildren, Maggie Crabtree and Tripp Crabtree.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
