Donald Canode Obituary

Donald Canode, born on March 20, 1946, passed away on September 19, 2026. Donald leaves behind family members and others who acknowledge this loss. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Canode and Mable Beard Canode; and his brother Roger Canode. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Latham Canode of Madisonville; his children, Carrie Rosorea (Brian), Cheri Crook (David) and Chuck Canode (Becky); his siblings, Joyce Vidik, Sharon Bolser and Randy Canode; his grandchildren, Noah, Sidney, Justin, Owen, Josh and Ethan; his stepgrandchildren, Hayleigh, Colin and Peyton; and his stepgreat-granddaughter Emma.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home – Madisonville Chapel (2285 N Main St, Madisonville, KY 42431). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
