We announce the death of Donald E. Carroll of Madisonville, Kentucky, who passed away on July 16, 2026, at the age of 86. Donald will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vannie Marie Josey Carroll and Herbert Edward Carroll; and his brother Wayne "Sonny" Carroll. He is survived by: his wife Judy Devine Carroll of Madisonville; his children, Kristy Heltsley (Scott) of Madisonville and Chad Carroll (Christy) of Madisonville; his grandchildren, Victoria Dock, Kaitlyn Runkel (Jordan), Emmi Carroll, Asher Carroll and Fynlee Carroll; and his great grandchildren, Baylor Runkel and Waylen Dock. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
