As Earl departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Earl may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Earl leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Wells and Bernice Stewart Wells; and his son Richard Wells. He is survived by: his wife Uldine Lutz Wells; his sons, Jon Wells (Robbie) of Dalton, KY and Randy Wells (Sarah) of Madisonville, KY; his grandchildren, Joanna Sandidge, Jeremy Wells, Baron Wells and Avery Wells; and his great grandchild Katelyn Sandidge.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Odd Fellows Cemetery (805 W Center St, Madisonville, KY 42431).
