She was predeceased by: her husband Elmer Wilbur Bean; her daughter Lana Schmaltz; her brothers, James Harold Huggins and Donald Owen Huggins; and her sons, Robert Owen Bean and Roger Keith Bean.

She is survived by: her children, Cindy Bean of Madisonville, Dennis Bean (Mary) of Madisonville and Joseph Bean (Pam) of Madisonville; her daughter-in-law Susie Bean of Benton, KY; and her brother-in-law William R. Bean of Madisonville. She is also survived by grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.
