She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie N. Travis and Susie Simpson Travis; her husband Jose Amarante Martinez; her sons, Dennis Nolen Barker and Fred Alan Barker; and her siblings, Mable, Nacoma, Nathaniel, Claude and Boyce.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Frances I. Barker of Lexington, KY and Dennis "Bud" Barker (Chrissy) of Newburgh, IN; and her great grandchild Amelia Nicole Barker of Newburgh.
