With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Imogene Benson of Madisonville, Kentucky, born in Ten Mile, Tennessee, who passed away on July 15, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Couch and Mattie Walden Couch; her son Vernon Dotson; and her siblings, Chan Couch, Louise Renfro, Mable Dorrsett, Mildred Vanhooser and Nancy Devine.

She is survived by: her husband Ronald Benson; and her stepchildren, Jennifer Benson of Florida and Jeff Benson of Madisonville. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
