James Alan Combs Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Alan Combs of Madisonville, Kentucky, who passed away on December 5, 2022, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Virginia Thomas Stearman; his brothers, Michael and Nick Combs; and his nephew Evan Combs. He is survived by: his father James W. Combs (Cheryl); his wife Starr Baucum-Combs; his children, Skylar Tommervik, Cassandra DeFord and Devyn Sharp; his grandchildren, Daniel and Gracie DeFord; his stepfather Larry Stearman; his brother Clint Combs; his stepsiblings, Jeff Stearman (Kim) and Kim Adkins; his mother-in-law Kathy Pleasant; his niece Megan Rector; and his nephew Zack Combs.
