He was predeceased by: his parents, Corlee Branson Barr and Elmer Barr; his sisters, Marjorie Uber and Doris Jones; and his nephews, Keith Jones and Kirk Jones.

He is survived by: his wife Erlinda Z. Barr; his daughter Carolyn Hilden (John) of Marquette, MI; his grandson David James Hilden (Lucia) of Texas; his great grandchildren, Iria Hilden and Paloma Hilden; and his niece Linda Kollien.

Due to concerns of the lingering effects of COVID, the family kindly request wearing a mask during the visitation and the funeral.
