He is survived by: his children, Debbie Myers (Larry) of Pleasant View, TN, Tommy Hopper (Bobbie) of Madisonville, KY and David Hopper (Angie) of Florida; his brother Don Hopper (Mary) of Dawson Springs, KY; his daughter-in-law Debbie Knight (Billy) of Madisonville, KY; his brothers-in-law, Danny Parrott and Jimmy Bozell; his grandchildren, Chris Hopper, Ashley Myers of Tiffany Foster, T. J, Dustin Hopper, Cory Hopper, Andrew Hopper, Zach Hopper, Brandon Knight, Kayla Knight, Destiny Knight and Lawri Hopper; his wife Sandra Kay Milton Hopper; his sons, Ronald Edward Hopper and Michael Keith Hopper; and his siblings, May Dean Mills (Bob), Thelma Sue German (Johnny), Christine "Jo" Johnson (Thomas), Janie Marie Parrott, Judith Ann Chester (Ron), Brenda Kay Bozell and Charles Thomas Hopper (Barbara). He is also survived by many great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
