With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan Morse of Madisonville, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 7, 2026 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Poremski and Magdeline Poremski; and her husband Charles Thornton Morse. She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Morse-Anderson of Unicoi, TN, Colleen Edmiston (Larry) of Owensboro, KY, Cathy Morse (Don Graff) of Cumming, GA, Chuck Morse (Deborah) of Hartford, KY, Chris Morse (Linda) of Hartford, KY and Craig Morse (Laura Malone) of Evansville, IN; and her brothers, Dan Poremski of Apollo, PA and Don Poremski of Uniontown, OH. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
