He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse C. Babb and Elizabeth Rose Smith; his wife Judy Babb; and his daughter Julie J. Babb Espey. He is survived by: his daughters, Jonna Rickard (Keith) of Madisonville and Jennifer Gipson (Steven) of Paducah, KY; his siblings, Donna Holmes of Madisonville and Michael Babb of Pillager, Minnesota; his grandchildren, John Brittain (Ashley), Devon Moore and Chloe Gipson; his great grandchildren, Karter Brittain and Summer Brittain; his grandchildren, Brook Cantoral, Jeremy Rickard (Kacey) and Jamie Kerperien (Matt); and his great grandchildren, Maycee Rickard, Rex Kerperien, Harper Rickard and Ariah Cantoral. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home – Madisonville Chapel (2285 N Main St, Madisonville, KY 42431). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
