It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Smiley of Madisonville, Kentucky, who passed away on March 8, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Smiley and Mildred Overfield Smiley; and his brother-in-law George Smith. He is survived by : his daughters, Jill Daves of Alabama, Leigh Chalothorn (Pada) of Lexington, KY and Molly Murdock (Anthony) of Tennessee; his siblings, Sandra Smith and Charles Edward Smiley (Carol); his grandchildren, Robbie Daves, Andrew, Alex, Anna and Charlotte Chalothorn; and his nieces and nephews, Susanne, Allen Elliott, Ricky, Michele Smiley, Tim and Donna Smiley.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Hopkins County Humane Society.
