With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Katie Wade of Madisonville, Kentucky, who passed away on May 7, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Katie departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Katie. Though Katie may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, B. W. Wade and Ruby Alexander Wade. She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Casares of Madisonville and Leigh Arora of Madison, WI; her sister Bonez McKnight of Florida; her grandchildren, Wade Smith, Avi Arora, Rohun Arora, Arjun Arora and Kiran Arora; and her great grandchild Samira Arora. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
