He was predeceased by: his parents, Clay Nickelson and Sarah Nickelson; his siblings, Ron Nickelson and Jean Nickelson; and his granddaughter Sarah Luttrell.
He is survived by: his wife Marty Nickelson of Bradenton, FL; his daughters, Jennifer Campbell (Chris) of Madisonville, KY and Jannette Luttrell (Chris) of Somerset, KY; his grandchildren, Whitney Campbell of Louisville, KY, Allison Weddle (Jared) of Hodgenville, KY, Emily Luttrell (Josh Gangluff) of St. Vincent, AR and Nate Luttrell of Somerset, KY.; and his great grandchildren, Logan and Parker Weddle.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home (2285 N Main St, Madisonville, KY 42431).
