He was predeceased by: his parents, Larry Dale Benton and Priscilla Benton Nichols (Camplin). He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Benton (Gordon); his children, Nicholas Holmes (Tiffany), Whitney Benton (Gary) of Madisonville, Maranda Turner (Derek) of Clay and D. J. Benton (Amber) of Belton; and his siblings, Kathy Camplin (Daniel) of Madisonville, Randy Benton-White (Chris) of Henderson and Joey Benton (Crystal) of Utica. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren.
