He was predeceased by: his father Leo E. Wirthlin, Sr.; his stepfather Robert Roland; his daughter Teresa Shari Nelson; and his brother Jerry Wirthlin. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy J. Roland of Madisonville; his fiancée Theresa Lawrence of Madisonville; his children, Dominic Wirthlin (Liesl) of Fountain Inn, SC and Tessa Hines of Mt. Carmel, IL; his stepchildren, Nicholas Kong of Washington, D. C. and Danielle Kong; his siblings, Tom Wirthlin of Wyoming, David Wirthlin of Florida, Edward Wirthlin of Washington, Pam Garrett of Utah and Patricia Crockett of Kentucky; and his grandchildren, Jadasey Hinton, Jameson, Steven Atkinson, Aurora-Grace, Remington, Paisley Wirthlin, Dominic and Aiden Hines. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
