She was predeceased by: her father Joseph David Summers; her former husband Ollie Hook; her husband Herman Hook; her daughter Yvonne Hook Gibson; and her stepchildren, Phyllis Inglis, Freda Cotton and Don Hook.
She is survived by: her stepson Pete Hook of Anton, KY; her grandchildren, David A. Gibson of Madisonville, Dennis A. Gibson of Madisonville and DeAndria Hopper (Tony) of Madisonville; and her son-in-law Floyd Gibson. She is also survived by great-great grandchildren; and step-grandchildren.
