She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlie Hopper and Betty Hopper (Fisher); her husband Robert Dale Mills; her son Gregory D Mills; her siblings, Sue German and Charles Hopper; and her sister-in-law Barbara Hopper.

She is survived by: her children, Robert, Connie Argier of Madisonville, KY, Cheryl Thomas (Dale) of Oakland, TN and Rob Mills (Marie) of Brentwood, TN; her grandchildren, Gregory Blincoe (Carrie) of Frisco, TX, Christina Tarpey of Lebanon, TN, Dezi Thomas (Aaron Green) of Newton, AL, India Thomas of Oakland, TN, Mariah Thomas of Midland City, AL, Annabelle, Charlie, Lucy and Henry Mills of Brentwood, TN; her siblings, James Hopper (Don Hopper) of Madisonville, Josephine Johnson (Thomas) of Ilsley, Judith Chester (Ron) of Ilsley and Janie Parrott (Brenda Boaz) of Madisonville; and her siblings-in-law, Johnny German and Elizabeth Hopper. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She died of complications related to late stage Alzheimer's.
