He is survived by : his wife Charlene Allen (Fenwick); his children, Amanda Allen and NaTosha Allen (Joseph Lofton); his grandchildren, Daleante Allen, Alexis Moore, Joseph Lofton Jr., Jacoby Lofton, Kahalil Coleman and Lexianna; his godchildren, Tiffany, Aaron and Andrew Clark; and his siblings, Gerald Allen, Danny Allen, Glenda Vaughn, Betty Masterson, Bessie Smith and Judy Salas. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Alexander West Chapel (2100 W Illinois St, Evansville, IN 47712). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
