It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Alan McGunigale of Madisonville, Kentucky, who passed away on December 26, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Carl and Arlene Marie Kieser McGunigale. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Elliott McGunigale; his sons, John Garrett Rustad of Fargo, ND, Richard Elliott McGunigale of Greenbrier, TN and Jonathan Ross McGunigale (Shauna) of Grande Prairie; his brothers, Thomas McGunigale of Jacksonville, FL, David McGunigale, Michael McGunigale and Daniel McGunigale of St. Mary's, GA; his grandchildren, Jillian Lees, Nathan McGunigale, Andrew McGunigale, Breanna Lee (Jared) and Thomas Odland; his great grandchild Bennett Lee; his nephews, Jeremy Payne, Jasen Payne, Christopher Smith and Jerry Smith; and his sister-in-law Christine Rose.
