In loving memory of Roberta Brown of Madisonville, Kentucky, who departed this world on November 12, 2025 at the age of 94. Roberta leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ona Poole Marks and Howard R. Marks; her husband Thomas Reid Brown; her son Eric Wayne Brown; and her siblings, John Marks, H. R. Marks, Tommy Marks, Ronnie Marks and Rachel Gardener.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Reid Brown II of Petersburg, VA, Barbara A. Brown-Meeks of Leitchfield, KY and Derek Howard Brown of Chattanooga, TN; her sister-in-law Jane Hudson Marks of Providence, KY; her grandchildren, Kathryn Jones, Thomas Reid Brown III (Michelle), Emily Dixon Brown (Trevor Johnson) and Joseph Reid Brown (Rachel); and her great grandchildren, Lorenzo, Jacob Reid and Ava Grace. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Harris Funeral Home (134 N Main St, Madisonville, KY 42431). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made in Roberta's memory to the First Christian Church Outreach Fund, 1030 College Drive, Madisonville, KY 42431 or envelopes will also be available at the funeral home.
