It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Dell Stone-Leavell (Madisonville, Kentucky), who passed away on January 8, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Ruby Dell may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ruby Dell touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel David Stone and Essie Mae Hogan; her husband Arthur Leavell; and her son James A. Leavell (Carol) of Indianapolis, IN.. She is survived by: her children, Walter L. Leavell (Pam), Shirley A. Rice (Larry), Robert A. Leavell (Debra), Azilee Thomas, Jacinta Leavell and Lisa Leavell-Buckner.
